Nanay is the greatest of all my blessings.
What an astonishing thing a book is. It’s a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you’re inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic.
Flashmob of the Day: A flashmob invaded a Copenhagen, Denmark Metro train last month, but in this case, the flashmob was the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra.
They treated unsuspecting commuters to a performance of Grieg’s “Peer Gynt,” and creative agency Makropol captured the whole thing on video.
Right about now, a few people on that train are probably wishing they had taken their earbuds out.

I stumbled upon this video on facebook. Ang ganda. Looking at all the world-class Filipinos give me so much hope. Pero, before we expect other countries to look upon us in a positive way, dapat tayo muna. We should change the perspective. Adjust the focus on the positive. Kaya pa.
It makes me feel emotional, thinking of the possibilities this beautiful country have. From its people to its rich natural resources. Grabe! Ang ganda ganda ng Pilipinas.
Tuwing titingin ka sa mga kalye ng Maynila o kahit saan man, wag mo nang ituro kung ano ang mali, alam na nating lahat yun. Instead, think of ways to improve. Kahit gano kaliit. O di ba, mas positive kung ganon? Its easier to point out the problem, but the bigger problem is, there are far too many people pointing out but no one taking an action to solve it.
Remember, magsisimula sayo. Don’t wait for others. Ako muna. Ikaw muna. Unti unti. Kaya pa.
